Hamburg, 06. Januar 2011, COLEXON Energy AG sold three solar power plants to an Irish investment company at the end of 2010. The sales figure amounts to more than 11.5 million Euro. The orders again emphasize the expertise of the European solar specialist.
The sale to an Irish investment company in December 2010 comprises the solar power parks Leo (998 kWp), Corvo (997 kWp), and Valle (997 kWp). The solar power plants were developed and built turnkey by the COLEXON Italia s.r.l., a 100-percent subsidiary of COLEXON Energy AG (WKN 525070, ISIN DE0005250708).
The COLEXON engineers installed 13,000 crystalline modules on an area of more than 20,000 square meters. The result convinces economically and ecologically. With an annual peak output of more than 3.8 million kilowatt hours, the solar parks annually save about 3,800 tons of CO2 compared to the emissions of a coal-fired power plant. The sales volume of more than 11.5 million Euros represents the largest order volume for COLEXON in the Italian market to date.
Furthermore, COLEXON has realized three solar power plants with a total output of almost three MWp for its own portfolio in cooperation with an Italian partner. Consequently, Italy developed into the most important international market for COLEXON in 2010.COLEXON is planning to realize further plants for its own portfolio as well as for external investors this year.
