Venlo, 13. May 2011, Scheuten Solar, an international player in the field of the design, production and distribution of solar panels was awarded the official PASS’INNOVATION for its Multisol® Integra system by the French certification body CSTB (Centre Scientifique et Technique du Bâtiment). The PV system had already previously been approved by the German TÜV. In the French solar market, integrated PV systems obtain the highest feed-in tariff.
The Multisol® Integra range of products represents the latest generation of Scheuten Solar's (in-roof) solutions, suitable for almost every sloped roof. The integrated Multisol® Integra PV system replaces, contrary to standard panels which are installed on the roof, a part of the existing roof. This necessitated the entire system from solar panels up to and including the substructure to be tested for watertightness and resistance to mechanical stress. Scheuten Solar obtained the highest possible label: ‘Green Light’.
In addition, Scheuten Solar offers Multisol® Integra Vitro. This system utilizes the Multisol® Vitro glass-glass laminate, resulting in superior strength (5400Pa) and an enhanced durability. The glass used - f | solarfloat HT glass - is being produced by f | glass (a joint venture between Scheuten and Interpane) on one of Europe's most advanced float glass production lines.
Theodoor Scheerder, Director Sales & Marketing Scheuten Solar: 'We are proud that after a period of intensive preparatory work, the extensive tests were now finalized successfully. This will enable our partners to market our state-of-the-art integrated PV systems. Apart from France, the Multisol® Integra products are also available in other European countries. The French market however, has a strong focus on small-scale integrated systems for which Scheuten Solar provides the ideal product.'
